THE PALATINES

These outstanding pieces of jewelry are real collector's items and are numbered among the finest and most precious of the models created by Corum's master watchmakers and jewelers.

Rare & exclusive, these pieces are crafted individually out of solid gold or platinum and embellished with diamonds, emeralds, sapphires & rubies selected with the greatest rigor by our own gemologists and jewelers.

They looked for the finest stones, ones which have the top grading on account of their origin, color & purity. For example, the diamonds were selected in accordance with the RAL 560 A5 and Swiss Gemmology Society's standards and come in the highest grades: "Top Wesselton" for color and "Pure 10 Times" or "Very very small inclusions" for purity.

Months of searching and evaluation were needed to collect the hundreds of stones of identical color and purity required for one single watch. Extreme care was then devoted to cutting them, in trapezoidal and baguette forms so that each one would fit exactly into the space reserved for it on the bezel & bracelet.
